Why: Micah Johnson‘s coveted Aku series is coming to an end. Having become one of the most lovable characters in all of NFTs over the past year, the young black astronaut will close his final chapter via Nifty Gateway.

Why: Starcatchers is a forthcoming PFP NFT project founded by Beutrec & co. Although the collection only began being shared via social media a month ago, its star-shaped characters have become a community favorite.

Why: Chaotic DJs is s new PFP project founded by top-tier pro skateboarder Nyjah Huston. The project was founded with the goal of offering a unique festival and nightlife experience within the metaverse, and has a roadmap that includes merch, giveaways, and more.

Why: Arben Vllasaliu is a Kosovan 3D artist with over ten years of experience in animation and graphic design. With Repetition, Vllasaliu offers up a collection of infinitely looping pieces inspired by saying “practice makes perfect.”

Why: 23-year-old Ukrainian 3D motion designer Eduard_ov is set to return to Nifty Gateway for his fifth collection on the platform. With his latest release, he hopes to communicate childhood to his collectors via seven new pieces.

Why: Invisible Friends is the latest collection from the increasingly popular Random Characters Collective. Created by Markus Magnusson, the project has amassed a near-cult following and is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated PFP NFT drops ever.

Remix Me – Part 3

Why: Over the past few years Hackatao — the artistic moniker of married artist duo Nadia Squarc and Sergio Scalet — has become one of the most influential names in crypto art. With their latest collection, the duo returns to MakersPlace for the third part of their experimental NFT project which features auctions of pieces created in collaboration with artists from the NFT community.

2022 The Year Of Tiger

Why: WonderPals is one of the latest PFP projects to have taken the NFT pace by storm. The collection was created by artist and product designer Mina from a combination of over 200 traits, the vision of the project is to “bring more joy to the world and bring people together through community.”
