Let’s face it: The NFT space moves really fast. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFTs might as well be a month IRL.
Don’t get us wrong — the more people onboarded into the space, the merrier. But because of the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.
Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you, as we put together a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss. Here’s what to look out for this week.
The 5th
Who: CryptoCubes in collaboration with 15 crypto artists including Ben Mauro, Macro Mori, and more.

When: July 18 @ 6:30 p.m. EDT
Where: Nifty Gateway
Why: CrytoCubes, along with the 15 crypto artists it commissioned to make pieces for this collection, is set to hold a truly limited auction later today at 6:30 P.M. EDT. Each artist combined CryptoCubes’ imagery with their own artistic style to create a one-of-one NFT. The auctions will last just five minutes each.
Universal Feelings
Who: Oscar Llorens
What: Five pieces, ranging from ten to twenty editions each.
When: July 19 @ 6:30 p.m. EDT
Where: Nifty Gateway
Why: With this collection, Spanish illustrator, painter, and artist Oscar Llorens hopes to translate what he’s identified as the “five universal feelings” — hope, distrust, spirituality, energy, and adventure — onto the proverbial canvas. Each piece in the collection carries Llorens’ characteristic playful, chaotic, and surrealist style and is fully animated in its own right.

What: Collection mechanics TBA
When: July 20 @ 6:30 p.m. EDT
Where: Nifty Gateway
Why: Illustrator and designer Buba Viedma is set to drop his next NFT collection, Unholy, on July 20. Taking equal bits of inspiration from science fiction and the occult, Viedma hopes to use the project as a vehicle to explore the “primordial beings” that exist “in unholy places beyond the rainbow.”
Celestial Living

When: July 22 @ 6:30 p.m. EDT
Where: MakersPlace
Why: South African line artist Daniella Attfield, also known as Daniella Doodles, is making her MakersPlace debut with her newest piece: Celestial Living.
