The Sandbox Launches Grand New ‘April Festival’

The Sandbox has kicked off its latest Monthly expedition into the Metaverse with the launch of its ‘April Festival.’ Throughout the Month, players can compete for a chance to earn $SAND, NFT, and LAND rewards. The festival will run from April 5th to May 2nd, and those meeting the required criteria can receive one guaranteed mystery box, plus a share in a 1 million $SAND rewards pool.

Players must complete 200 quests in the April Festival to qualify for the Mystery Box. This year’s Mystery Box may include a $SAND pack or an NFT from popular collections like Gutter Cat, CyberKongz VX, and World of Women. The Sandbox Game April festival has a reward pool of 1,150,000 SAND, with various prizes allocated to different categories.

This reward pool includes 250,000 $SAND reserved for the Mystery Box and 150,000 SAND for LAND owners. It also includes 150,000 SAND for Avatar owners, and 600,000 SAND for upcoming events. These rewards make The Sandbox Game’s April Festival one of the most highly anticipated events in the gaming Metaverse.

To participate in the prize pool, players must first have a KYC-ed Sandbox account. Meanwhile, owning an eligible avatar and/or LAND token will open those taking part up to an additional layer of potential rewards. 

The Sandbox Remains Dedicated to Rewarding its Players

The Sandbox is a popular gaming Metaverse, with the highly anticipated April Festival drawing near. The event’s reward pool was announced in a tweet on March 31st, with additional details of the festival to be announced soon. During the event, players can look forward to experiences from beloved franchises such as “Fist of the North Star” manga series.

From March 8th to April 4th, The Sandbox hosted the free-to-play March Festival. The event featured a reward pool of over 1 million $SAND, which players could earn by completing 300 quests. The Sandbox Game’s innovative play-to-earn model allows players to earn native tokens and assets like LAND and NFTs from various platform partners. Last month’s event featured rewards from Hell’s Kitchen, HSBC, Ubisoft’s Rabbids, and other partners.
