The documentary is based on the mysterious death of the now-defunct crypto exchange QuadrigaCX founder.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King | Official Trailer | Netflix\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vW2BPQ15OSw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The founder of the crypto exchange allegedly died on a trip to India. Along with him, he took away the whereabouts of the keys to crypto wallets containing around $250 million worth of cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n<p>Unofficial investigations and numerous conspiracy theories followed the mysterious disappearance\/death of the QuadrigaCX founder. The Netflix investigative documentary aims to clear some mystery around the high-profile crypto case that puzzles many even today.<\/p>\n<p>The crypto swindler documentary takes inspiration from \u201cDON\u2019T F*CK WITH CATS\u201d-style investigative thriller and people already seemed to be hooked to the release. One Twitter user <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HelloTwittyNYC\/status\/1509701286979067907?s=20&amp;t=S9jaiKSYBwrtS7POOf4zWQ\" target=\"_blank\">wrote<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWatched it at the gym tonight. Got only 1\/2 way through, but it\u2018s already insane: Biggest red flag is faking death with Crohn\u2018s disease, seriously?! You don&#8217;t need an MD to know Crohn&#8217;s disease rarely leads to death!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Another expressed a similar view and\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jstephens2482\/status\/1509318650976784392?s=20&amp;t=S9jaiKSYBwrtS7POOf4zWQ\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhat a crazy story. Dig up that grave!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A user who had allegedly used the QudrigaCX back in the day claimed that he smelled fishy behavior way early and took money out in time. After watching the documentary, he wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI had a lot of coins on that exchange. But one day I sensed something strange with the way the trades were being handled. Having set up bloomberg systems for AIMCO, i had a good feeling for how these exchanges should work.
